FORMER ROC BUNKER FOR SALE!!!!

Situated in a stunning rural Derbyshire location in the heart of the Peak District National park.

Originally constructed in 1957 and opened in January 1958 the bunker is situated on the outskirts of a picturesque village popular with tourists and ramblers. The village contains various shops, craft stores (glass, cheese, pottery etc) and restaurants. The site is also conveniently located for access to various renowned walkways taking in breath taking scenery.

The site comprises of a plot of land around 15m by 15m. On the surface there is a concrete entrance shaft with a metal hatch giving way to a 15ft entrance shaft which gives access to two rooms, one containing a chemical toilet and the larger (15ft X 7ft 6ins) monitoring room. The smaller room still contains the original regulation chemical toilet (unused!). The larger monitoring room is in good order and contains a pair of the original metal-framed bunk beds as well as a metal framed single bed. Lighting is provided by a 12volt battery located behind the monitoring room door.

Also on the surface is a ventilation shaft with two louvered vents located alongside the entrance shaft with a second air shaft at the far end of the bunker.

Access and right of way to the site is gained through an opening in a stone wall located alongside the site.
